84, Charing Cross Road

This delightful play is a dramatisation of letters between Helene Hanff, a struggling New York writer and Frank Doel, manager of Marks & Co., an antiquarian bookshop in London, and the friendship that builds over a 20 year period between 1949 and 1969, during which time Helene shows her gratitude by sending “care packages” to the staff. Performance begins at 7.30pm

It is a 1940s Tea Room theme as seen in previous years, so feel free to dress up. We would absolutely love your support and help in raising as much as we can fo Macmillan. Keep an eye out for updates in our Facebook event.
